Shame on me!

It's been so long since I posted.Shame on me. But believe me, I have plenty of  excuses, reasons!
Sam started school just about a month ago.He goes twice a week, for a full day, which is different, but it works out.He really likes school, but has had a hard time adjusting on staying there. He will cry for a little bit, and then be fine.
The weather here has been nice. Not so hot, not cold yet. I'n looking forward for fall, and sweaters. ( I can't believe I'm saying this!) Not looking forward to winter yet, I don't think I ever am going to be. ut here is one good things, which is that we have a small ski resort very close to our house. Shay is getting a season pass, and is very excited, specially since he can take Sam for free.
Shay just got back home this weekend after being gone for two weeks for work. So, I'm trying to just enjoy family time now. Of course it doesn't help that both him and me have a pretty bad cold, but at least he's here. I would have been pretty miserable sick and alone. As the saying goes, misery likes company! :)
I've also been trying to spend some more time crafting. It's something that keep me sane ( when it doesn't make me mad that I can't get something right!) And heading into fall, and halloween gives me an escuse do decorate and create some new things. Maybe I'll get inspired and share some of those with you sometime.
I'm felling a need for another dose of DayQuill, so  I'll leave you with some pictures of Sam's first day of school

Where has time gone?

I dont't know how, but Sam is starting kindergarten next week.
How did he gor from chubby little baby

To handsome five year old?

It goes by so fast. I know, how cliche! Everybody says that. But it's true.
It kind of dawned on me when I realized, he starts school this year, he will be in school for at least another 13 years! There's no : " Should we put him on preschool this year?" No turning back.
He also learned to ride his bike without training wheels, pretty quick too. (Can you tell I'm proud?) I think I might be more excited for that than him!
He also turned from the super shy kid, to the one that tells you everything we did yesterday if you're in  line behind us at Wal-mart.
He loves everything Star-wars, Lego, Dinosaurs, Ninja. Such a BOY! And I love it!!!
I love the fact, that at least for now, I can stay at home with the boys. And even though it gets pretty crazy during the day, watching them sleep at night only makes me want to be a better mom the next day.
I love you Samuel! And I hope you have a great school year!
