Babies,babies!

Sam just turned 18 months old this last Friday. We have his doctor's appointment on Wednesday, and Shay is very excited to get his height.Apparently, if we multiply that by 3 we get the height that he will be when he grows up. His mom did it with him and it came only half an inch short. So when we get it figured it out we'll post it here.
I still have to get used to the idea that my son will be so much taller than me,me being 5'3 and one of the tallest people in my family....
But time definitely flies by, it seems as it was only a couple of months ago that Sam was turning 1 and it's already been 6!These last 6 months have definitely gone by a lot faster than the first 6, or even the "second "6....
We are thinking about baby number 2...and we will wait a little bit more, but not much more.I think an age difference of about 3 years is very good, and that's what we will aim for. At this point we are a little anxious to see how our second baby will be. Because Sam is such a good natured, calm, loving kid, we are not sure we will be that lucky twice. Most of the time when you are blessed with a kid like this, the second one comes just to let you know that it is not that easy. But we have to count our blessings and be thankful that at least our first kid was so good it didn't scare us of having another one, and who knows? God may have a plan for us that includes another calm,good natured baby like Sam, but whatever it is, I am sure we will love him just as much!
